diverted flights
« on: January 17, 2014, 06:18:23 AM »
Hi guys

I have a small question about diverted flights and what should you do in ACARS to file the right PIREP.
I was flying form LROP to EHAM and over the Czech Republic I got the forward cargo fire alarm. discharged the foam, went to sq 7700, told the controller the problem and I also requested vectors to LKMT (nearest airport that could take me). We've landed safely and evacuation was without incidents.
But now, my PIREP was to EHAM so when I sent it, I went to EHAM (in 1.47 hours), not LKMT. Should I have changed the destination ICAO to LKMT before sending it?

Thank you,
Adrian
