Title: X-Plane 10 on MAC OSX
Post by: Zoltan Vodinszki on October 15, 2014, 02:40:21 PM
Hi,

As my Windows laptop is in service since a while, I have decided to try to move to my lower performance MackBook Pro Mini.
I was able to find alternatives to almost all plugins/software add-on except for an acars system. I am trying a direct plugin called xPassenger but this one requires some VA specific settings that I am not aware of.

It requires the usual pilot ID and password but the next fields are: Host (I tried http://airdanubius.eu), FlightData, LiveAcars, Pirep.

Any thoughts on this? Maybe someone has an alternative to catching PIREPs on MacOS?

Thank you!
Zoli

Hey Zoli try this:

acars server url: http://www.airdanubius.eu/action.php/acars/xacars/acars
acars pirep url: http://www.airdanubius.eu/action.php/acars/xacars/pirep
flight info server url: http://www.airdanubius.eu/action.php/acars/xacars/data

POSReportTime = 1
EnableLiveACARS = 1
EnablePIREP = 1
AutoPIREP = 1

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.
It looks like it's working.

I will post back the final result.
